Hydra lancia una nuova call for entries aperta a tutte e tutti coloro che amano usare le instant camera e dedicata al concetto di DESIDERIO, una parola magica che si colloca tra la luce e l’ ombra, e che vorremmo servisse per rivelare ciò che rimane latente dietro il sipario della nostra quotidianità.
Il focus questa volta sarà il corpo stesso, usato come spazio di indagine, luogo di incontro/scontro delle nostre molteplici identità, nonché conduttore delle più vibranti pulsioni.
Guardando ai i nostri corpi come amplificatori di desiderio, invitiamo così a giocare con il medium fotografico per riportare alla luce nella sua più scintillante bellezza ciò che freme sotto la trama della nostra pelle.
Per partecipare inviare entro il 31 dicembre fino a un massimo di 3 foto scattate con una instant camera di qualsiasi formato, a colori o in bianco e nero, scansionate a 300 dpi formato jpeg, all’indirizzo e-mail hydrazines01@gmail.com con titolo, nome e cognome dell’autorx.
Le foto possono essere manipolate sia digitalmente che manualmente.
La call è libera e gratuita.
Una selezione degli scatti verrà pubblicata on-line e comporrà il secondo numero delle Hydrazines.
Contestualmente all’uscita della zine on-line verrà organizzata una performance visiva che avrà luogo nella città di Roma, il cui sito sarà comunicato solo il giorno prima dell’evento.

Hydra is back with a new call for entries. This time the topic is DESIRE and the call is open to everyone who loves to use instant cameras.
DESIRE is such a magic word, between light and shadow, and we would like to use it to reveal what remains latent behind the curtain of our everyday life.
The focus will be on the body itself, used as space of enquiry, an encounter/collision place among our numerous identities, as well as conductive element of most vibrating impulses.
Looking at our bodies as desire amplifiers, we give you the chance to play with the photography medium in order to bring to light, in its most sparkling beauty, what trembles beneath our skin.
Do you want to be a part of this blasting project?
Well, you can send us (email hydrazines01@gmail.com) a maximum of 3 photos, taken with an instant camera, scanned with a 300 dpi Jpeg format, B&W or colour.
The photos’ size is your choice, but remember to put the title, your name and surname on them.
Deadline: December 15.
Feel free to manipulate, manually and digitally, your photographs.
The call is free, no payment is required.
A shoots selection will be published on line and they will be the issue of the Hydrazines number 2.
At the same time of the launch of the on-line magazine we are going to organise a visual performance in Rome but only the day before the event we’ll announce the place where it will take place.
